  3. What is HierApplicationMenu?
  4.  
  5. HierApplicationMenu expands the capability of the application menu. The application menu is the rightmost menu which displays a small icon of the currently running application. With HierApplicationMenu you can:

  7.  - Quit any application which supports AppleEvents
  8.  - Bring any application to the front
  9.  - Hide any application
  10.  - Bring any window of any application to the front
  11.  - You may, of course, continue to use the application menu as you always have.

  13. The frontmost application will be underlined and any application requesting attention will be in italics.

  15. How do I install HierApplicationMenu?
  16.  
  17. Installing HierApplicationMenu is easy, simply drop the extension on the system folder and it will be directed to the Extensions folder. If you prefer, you may place it in the Extensions folder yourself. Reboot and enjoy.

  19. Any Incompatibilities?
  20.  
  21. Some application, particularly those which support floating windows, may get mixed up if you bring a non-floating window to the front. For those applications, you may wish to only bring the application to front.

  25. You need to be running at least system 7.

  27. What is limited in the demo?

  29. The demo allows you to use HierApplicationMenu thirty times, after which the application menu will revert to its normal self.

  33.  - Ability to selectively Hide any application
  34.  - Fixed bug which sometimes caused "Bring to Front" to be greyed out at wrong time
